etching and touches of drypoint, circa 1631, on fine laid paper, with part of a crowned watermark, second (final) state, a fine impression of this rare, lightly etched plate, without any of the wear so often encountered in the more strongly etched lower right corner and with touches of burr beneath both of Antiope's breasts, to the fingers of her right hand and on the line of her hip below the approaching Jupiter, with narrow to thread margins, slight stains at the left corners, some tiny brown spots most noticeable on the reverse
