etching, 1631, on fine laid paper, without watermark, third state (of four), before the plate was cut at the right, a very fine, rich impression of this very rare early print, without any wear in the densely hatched shadow bottom left and with only traces in the furred hat, with thread margins or trimmed on the platemark, a small repaired tear at the top right corner, some minor handling creases and pale discoloration, otherwise in very good condition
