LINCOLN, ABRAHAM, President. Letter signed ("A. Lincoln") apparently as President-elect, TEXT IN THE HAND OF MARY TODD LINCOLN, to an undentified recipient, n.p., n.d. [Springfield, circa November 1860]. 1 page, an obong, mounted in lower margin of a portrait engraving of Lincoln, glazed in a giltwood frame.
The President-elect obliges an apparent supporter: "Dear Sir -- Herewith I send you my autograph, which you request. Yours Truly, A. Lincoln." Lincoln signed a number of similar letters at this time.
