AN AUSTRIAN THREE-PIECE TEA-SERVICE, by Vincenz Czokally, Vienna, late 19th Century, comprising teapot, two-handled sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each ovoid, on four openwork tapering foliate feet, the body applied with lacy arabesque mid band, between engraved bands of stylized leaves, with bone scroll handles, the sugar-bowl with silver handles, the teapot with raised hinged cover with similar engraving and headed by cast Roman warrior and wild horse finial--the teapot 8 1/2in. (21.5cm.) high, gross weight 41oz.
