AN EDWARD VII FOUR-PIECE TEA-SERVICE, by Fenton, Russell & Co., Ltd., London, 1904, comprising teapot, hot-water jug, two-handled sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each with long cylindrical necks and bombé bodies, on shaped raised circular foot chased with flowersprays and applied scroll rim, the body chased with panels of swirling fruit and foliage between lobes, the neck decorated with two similar bands, and between engraved with crest, with similar applied scroll rim to the foot, all spouts decorated, the pots with partly domed hinged cover surmounted by wood oval finial, with angular wood handle--the hot-water jug 10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 85oz.
