A GEORGE III TEAPOT, London, 1796, maker's mark unclear, shaped oval with concave corners, two sides engraved with shield-shaped cartouche within foliate surround, one engraved with crest, the other later engraved with initials, between two engraved bands bands, with panelled straight spout, wood loop handle, the partly domed hinged cover headed by wood oval finial--6in. (15.2cm.) high, gross weight 15oz.
