The top inset with white veined marble surmounting a mahogany swagged cornice, the four squared off legs extending the length of the case and terminating in a stylized scrolled foot raised up on small dentated socle, the case veneers of matched figured mahogany over the three sides, the case comprised of drop-front desk flanked by cabinets over drawers, the escutcheons of cast gilt-bronze, the keys en suite
