A RARE LATE MING BLUE AND WHITE BOWL WANLI MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD
The deep sides strongly angled above the foot and decorated with continuous lotus scroll enclosing the Eight Buddhist Emblems and a lotus blossom, above a double-ribbed band and a narrow band of conjoined foliate scrolls, all within single and double line borders, the nianhao on the interior below a double-line border at the rim, crack - 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.
