A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE CHARGER KANGXI, CIRCA 1700-1720
The center decorated with eight flower-filled petal lappets conjoined by scrolling leaves and radiating outward from a central foliate spray medallion, all reserved on a diaper ground interrupted by ruyi heads at the edge of the well, the wide everted rim with quatrefoil panels alternately decorated with fruiting peach or pomegranate sprays, and with four peacocks standing amidst dense chrysanthemum meander, the underside decorated with the babao and the base with a lingzhi mark within a double circle, minor rim fritting--21 7/8 in. (55.6 cm.) diam.
