Crespel, London, 1767, molded oval, on four foliate scroll and conch feet, the two scroll and shell handles with join similar to the foot, with applied gadrooned rim, the raised cover chased with gadrooned band with double shell at front and back, above applied with asymetrical rocaille cartouche engraved with crest, the scroll handle applied with leaf and gadrooned, with conforming joins--length over handles 16¼in.
