A GEORGE III CREAM-JUG, MUSTARD-POT AND NUTMEG-GRATER, the first maker's mark of Hester Bateman, London, 1775, inverted pyriform, with shaped rim to the multi-scroll handle; the pierced cylindrical mustard-pot--maker's mark probably that of Hannah Northcote, 1800, engraved twice with tulip-head bands, with plain cover to the scroll handle (liner chipped), the navette-form nutmeg-grater--maker's mark of P. & W. Bateman (worn), 1808, two-thirds with hinged metal grater, the remainder covered hinged compartment, engraved with crest, with pendant ring--6in. (15.2cm.) long, gross weight 7.5oz.
