A GEORGE III TEA-POT, maker's mark of William Elliott, London, 1815, partly fluted compressed circular, on rim foot, with everted collar applied with dentilated band with elaborate applied shell and scroll foliage at one end, with acanthus applied reeded loop handle, with squat spout, the partly raised hinged cover topped by fluted button finial above chased fluted calyx--length over spout and handle 11½in. (28.7cm.), gross weight 23oz.
