A GEORGE IV TEAPOT, maker's mark of R.W. Atkins & W. N. Somersall, London, 1827, inverted pryriform on circular raised foot, with scalework band enclosing chased and matted flowers within arcading, centering one arcade initialed M; one with crest, all between fluted bands, the collar and foot border with floral and foliate band, the spout and scroll handle with conforming decoration, the partly fluted raised hinged cover topped by cast flower form finial--9¾in. (24.7cm.) high, gross weight 28.5oz.
