A FRENCH ELABORATE FIGURAL INKSTAND, maker's mark of Fizaine, 19th Century, shaped quatrefoil, on two foliate scroll, and two foliate lion's paw, feet, the body divided by scrolls and rocaille on seme with dots ground, fitted with two urn form hinged covered two handled ink-pots, with female bust finials, centering two classically attired females, with wheel, hammer and anvil below, and supporting shallow circular bowl with openwork leafy rim, behind fitted with scroll penholder--14¼in.
