The Gossips

Brozik established his career as a painter of historical subjects in the manner of Carl von Piloty, under whom he had studied in Munich. He based himself in Prague, where he became professor of the Academy of Beaux-Arts, and also achieved an international reputation. He was as a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and was decorated with the Légion d'Honneur.
