A THREE-PIECE TEA-SERVICE AND WASTE-B0WL, the teapot unmarked, the cream-jug and covered sugar-bowl with maker's mark of J. Crawford, circa 1820, the waste-bowl with indistinct mark, each partly lobed oblong, on stepped spreading foot, the shoulder applied with die-rolled grapevine band, the rim and foot rim with die-rolled shell band, with angular handles, the teapot with partly raised hinged cover headed by decorated oblong finial; the waste-bowl with oak leaf and acorn applied die-rolled rim--the teapot 9½in. (24.1cm.) high, gross weight 62oz.
