Of black, somewhat speckled stone, the shaft-hole centered within a globular element, with a cylindrical flat-ended butt opposite the long, slightly curving blade, a double groove along the length of the upper edge, additional grooves off-setting the blade and butt from the shaft-hole, probably imitating a cast bronze form
