MID 18TH CENTURY
With serpentine moulded liver and grey mottled marble-top now applied to a later marble above three short and two long drawers veneered à quatres faces and inlaid with cartouches, with later pierced foliate-cast handles and lockplates, the sides similarly inlaid, the angles mounted with later pierced foliate cast chutes, on splayed legs fitted with later sabots (mounts of later date)-- 35½in. (90cm.) high, 50½in. (128cm.) wide, 23¾in. (60cm.) deep
