A GEORGE III SILVER HOT-WATER KETTLE, STAND AND LAMP, London, 1812, maker's mark of William Burwash, the tapering cylindrical kettle with bowed sides, engraved with crest, the tapering partly reeded tap below part-foliate scroll ivory topped spigot, the part ivory fixed scroll handle with shell joins, the low raised molded detachable cover topped by ivory circular finial, the circular stand with inset for tap, with three drop ring handles, on four acanthus headed tapering supports on lion's paw feet, all on tri-part base, with urn-form screw-on lamp between, with applied reeded rims, fully marked-- height of kettle on stand over handle 16in.
