A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT, London, 1809, maker's mark of George & Alice Burrows, compressed rounded rectangular, on four ball feet, one side engraved with crest, the shoulder chased with wrigglework bordered foliate shells at intervals, the partly raised hinged cover topped by bone finial, the spout part covered by shell, with bone loop handle--length over handle and spout 10in. (25.4cm.), gross weight 21oz.
