A REGENCY STYLE FOUR-PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE ON TWO HANDLED TRAY, Sheffield, 1933, maker's mark of Walker & Hall, comprising teapot, vase-form coffee-biggin, two-handled sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each compressed circular, on short raised circular foot, with reeded band to the shoulder, applied gadrooned and foliate shell collar, the pots with squat spout, chased with anthemion and shell, the ivory handles with entwined serpent joins, the partly domed hinged covers topped by ivory button finial--the coffee-biggin 8½in. (21.5cm.) high; the oval tray with molded border and rim conforming to the collars, with part foliate loop handles--length over handles 30in. (82.5cm.), gross weight 234.5oz.
