A GEORGE II SILVER CASTOR AND A GEORGE III TEAPOT-STAND, the castor, London, 1748, maker's mark of Samuel Wheat, inverted pear-shaped on spreading circular foot, with slip-on domed pierced cover with baluster finial--6¼in. (15.8cm.) high; the teapot-stand--London, 1800, maker's mark lacking; rectangular with incurved corners, the center engraved with later initials, above with greek key band, molded border and applied wrigglework rim, inset with wood base--6in. (15.2cm.) long, the castor 5oz.
