A SILVER SALVER, bearing, probably spurious marks for London, maker's mark of Clement Stoner, circa 1689, date letter distorted, chased later, altered, shaped circular, on three grapevine and scroll feet, the center engraved with script monogram, later engraved with floral and scroll sprays, with molded border and applied scroll and rocaille shaped rim, the reverse inscribed The Gift of Mrs. Mary Price of Woodhatch Surrey to her Son William Price March 1819--10¾in.
