AN AUSTRIAN AND A GERMAN SILVER-MOUNTED ETCHED GLASS DECANTER, late 19th Century, the first with pear-shaped glass body etched with panels of lyres between foliate scrolls, on raised circular foot, the neck mounts chased with panels of putti within foliate scrolls, with decorated scroll handle, the hinged raised cover headed by kneeling putto holding monogrammed shield--13½in. (34.2cm.) high, in fitted leather case; the compressed oval body of the second etched with crowned griffins centering scrolling foliate, with openwork lacy side mounts, on fluted spreading circular foot, with similar fluting to the neck, shaped spout and shell form cover, topped by multi-ball finial, with angular handle--11¼in. (28.5cm.) high
