AN ART DECO FOUR-PIECE PLATED TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE ON TWO-HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark RM pellet between, circa 1930, comprising teapot, coffee-pot, two-handled covered sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each slightly compressed ovoid, on stepped circular foot, the body engraved four times with vertical reeded band, the pots with angular wood handles with stepped join, slightly raised hinged cover topped by wood faceted finial in partly reeded cube, with partly covered spouts--the coffee-pot 9in. (22.8cm.) high; the elongated octagonal tray with molded border and stepped reeded rim, with conforming handles and joins--length over handles 24in. (60.9cm.) long
