comprising teapot, coffee-pot, two-handled hinged covered sugar-bowl, cream-jug, milk-jug and swing-handled waste-bowl, each baluster, on ropetwist foot, with similar rim, the body entirely chased with wicker-work, two sides chased with oval cartouche, engraved one engraved with initial M, within shaped strapwork, the shoulder and cover with similar strapwork band, with wicker-work scroll handle with fruit join, the spouts with similar chasing and join, the partly domed hinged cover topped by cornucopia finial--the coffee-pot 12in. (30.4cm.) high; the oval tray engraved with presentation inscription within flowerhead and bellflower surround, all enclosed by arabesque band, molded border, applied die rolled rim, and two scroll handles with palmette joins--length over handles 30in. (76.2cm.), weighable silver, gross weight 152oz.
