A FRENCH SILVER TEA KETTLE ON STAND AND LAMP

In the Rococo style, of baluster form, the body elaborately repousse and chased with swirling acanthus and rocaille scrolls, the fluted spout issuing from sweeping rocaille, with bifurcated acanthus scroll side handle, the hinged domed cover with a band of similar acanthus below an acanthus scroll ring finial, with overhead acanthus scroll and rocaille swing handle, the stand on four acanthus scroll supports joined by a rocaille apron, with removable inverted pear-shaped central burner with similar rocaille band and sweeping bifurcated scroll side handle, the hinged cover with similar rocaille below a foliate finial--17in. (43.2cm.) high, 99oz.
