The three plate bowl of ribbed conical form, probably based on a European morion, decorated in black lacquer (chipped and cracked), mabizashi decorated en suite with wrinkles in relief, the short fukigaeshi with gilt metal flowerhead form mon, with five-lame buckskin laced jikoro; the iron mempo decorated in black lacquer, with three-stage jikoro, the nine-stage mogamido blue laced and decorated with a textured red lacquer to resemble leather (now with cracking, flaking and chips), with kote, kusazori, sode and haidate
