A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JAR
YI DYNASTY (18TH CENTURY)

Of high-shouldered ovoid form painted in underglaze blue with a bird perched on trailing, flowering branches above a narrow line encircling the vase, painted above the foot three tendril-wrapped floral sprays and below the neck with three additional sprays, the high neck painted with trailing vines between parallel lines- 8 3/16 in. (20.7 cm.) high, losses to glaze on one side, foot restored, fitted wood box
