Upon inspection of the original Mr. Naumann confirms that the above lot is a copy, possibly by the even more obscure Mathias Naiveu, of a picture by Willem van Mieris signed and dated 1720 that was last seen in a sale in Amsterdam (Mak van Waay, June 7, 1955, lot 76)
