FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST TREATISE ON OAK TREES, 2 parts in one, woodcut printer's device on title, 9 small woodcuts of acorns and oak branches on e3-4, 6- and 3-line woodcut azuré initials, woodcut headpieces. The second part contains the first botanical description of the flora of Mont Pilat, which Gesner included in his treatise on the luminescent plants of that mountain, De raris et admirandis herbis, printed in Zurich later the same year.
