The fine nickel keyless lever movement jewelled to the third wheel, regulator index on center bridge, pin set, engraved 18K gold cuvette, engine turned silvered dial with applied gilt foliage, roman chapters and blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds, within an engraved 18K gold case, the back with enamelled scene of turtle doves under ivy vine, the front similarly enamelled with rose-cut diamond-set swan, and gold chatelaine in the form of a trefoil enclosing flower heads and leafy scrolls, above a similary chased cartouche flanked by chains of S-links, signed on the dial, c. 1880s--39mm. diam., chatelaine 98mm. long
