The gilt lever movement jewelled through the hammers, gold train, counterpoised escapement with overcoiled hairspring, repeating on gongs by means of slide on band, pin set, 18K gold cuvette, white enamel dial, roman chapters enclosing day and date registers, aperture for age and aspect of the moon, month ring within subsidiary seconds dial, blued steel hands, within an 18K gold engine turned case engraved with scroll cartouche, signed on cuvette, dial and movement, numbered on case and cuvette, the case with trademark of Louis Audemars and town mark of Brassus, c. 1870--53mm. diam.
