BLUE BEEHIVE MARK, IMPRESSED DATE NUMBER FOR 1796
The center finely painted with a figure of a winged Cupid in scant drapery holding an arrow to his breast and a bow in his left hand, before a yellow and orange glow on a base inscribed 'AMOR', within an oval cartouche reserved on the gilt ground within a border of lozenges centering flowerheads on a white band and a further band of interlaced lilacs on a maroon ground (later giltwood frame)--9 3/8in. diam.
