[FUNGI]. Album containing 85 original watercolor drawings of various English and Italian Funghi specimens. English, circa 1850s-60s. 4to, 280 x 216 mm., modern tan calf, gilt-lettered lettering piece on spine, drawings vary in size (from 248 x 183 to 189 x 139 mm.) and are tipped onto large album sheets at corners, condition generally fine. [With:] 2 inserted sheets contining numerous colored drawings of funghi, each bearing the inscription "E. Grove, Oakhurst." Their style appears identical to the bound drawings. Many of these careful studies, by an unidentified artist, bear pencil inscriptions identifying the subject by their Latin species name, respectively.
