A VICTORIAN THREE-PIECE SILVER BACHELOR'S TEA-SERVICE, Birmingham, 1876, maker's mark apparently HB conjoined in shield, comprising teapot, two-handled sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each oval, two sides with shaped ovoid cartouche, one engraved with initial C, with flowering foliage surround, within stiffleaf borders, with ribbed scroll handles, the teapot with flat hinged cover, wood handled and finial, with straight spout--4¼in. (10.7cm.) high, gross weight 14.5oz.
