A GEORGE III SILVER COFFEE-POT, London, 1769, maker's mark of Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp, baluster, on raised gadrooned base, the lower part of the body chased with entwined foliate scrolls centering stylized acanthus, terminating in flutes and beads, the shoulder and cover with similar band, with elaborate part beaded and fluted spout with rocaille join, the wood scroll handle with conforming join, one side later engraved with monogram within wreath, the raised, gadrooned rim, hinged cover tiooed bt beaded bud finial--11½in. (29.2cm.) high, gross weight 29.5oz.
