A TEA-URN AND A PAIR OF CHAMBERSTICKS, maker's mark of Elkington & Co., circa 1845; the chambersticks maker's mark of James Dixon & Sons' the tea-urn broadly fluted inverted pear-shaped, on spreading circular base on four foliate scroll feet, with conforming detachable cover, all engraved with panels of swirling scrolling foliage and flowerheads, the front and back engraved with crest, with baluster spigot and foliate tap, with two part-foliate reeded handles, the cover topped by pomegranite finial, the interior with covered pig-compartment--16½in. (41.9cm.) high; the octagonal chambersticks with panelled socket fitted with snuffer, the scroll handle fitted with conical extinguisher, with detachable wax-pan, all with beaded and foliate scroll rims--4¾in. (12cm.) high
