A GERMAN SILVER TROPHY-GOBLET AND SUGAR-BOX, late 19th Century, the tapering bowl on molded spreading circular foot, chased with panels of sperad-eagles, lions and shields, the body chased and engraved with hunting-trophies and foliage on matted ground, centering three asymetrical cartouches, one German Imperial eagle, one with coat-of-arms bear, the other chased with a shooting inscription dated 1890--8¾in. (22.2cm.) high; the compressed oval box on four bun feet, the sides and hinged cover chased with flowersprays within prick engraved border, the front with lock and key--7½in. (18.4cm.) long, 17oz.
