A RUSSIAN LARGE SILVER TEAPOT, St. Petersburgh, 1857, assaymaster E. Brandenburg, maker's mark of Pavel Fedorovich Sazikov, gilt lined, broadly fluted pear-shaped, on short spreading circular foot, plain upraised spout, with scroll and knopped tubular and ivory overhead swing handle with foliate joins, with conforming raised cover with hinge at right angles to the spout, topped by quatrefoil finial--height over handle 12in. (30.4cm.) high, gross weight 62.5oz.
