Kerr & Co., comprising teapot, two-handled sugar-bowl and cream-jug, the teapot pear-shaped with long tapering neck, on four openwork scroll feet, the body applied four times with female mask with flowing hair and crown issuing trailing flowerspray, centering two sides foliate scroll vacant cartouche, the neck applied with four hermes, the high raised head by grotesque mask, another at the end with entertwined flower garlands, the hinged raised cover with chased with leaves, topped by baluster finial, with elaborate grotesque bird's head and mask foliate scroll handle, the cream-jug and sugar-bowl with compressed circular bodies, applied with tied floral swags, with similar handles--11¼in. (28.5cm.) high, gross weight 34.5oz.
