A BACHELOR'S SILVER TEA-KETTLE ON STAND, maker's mark of Tiffany & Co., executed by John Moore, 1865-1870, inverted pear-form, with part beaded spout, the hinged raised cover topped by bud finial, engraved with anthemion to the lower part of the body, cover and spout, the shoulder and neck engraved with leafy band, with part engraved overhead swing handle, the partly beaded, chained, circular stand on four tapering scroll supports headed by leaf, with pierced and medallion applied apron between, with later burner--height of tea-kettle on stand over handle 12in. (30.4cm.) high, gross weight 26oz.
