A GROUP OF FOUR SILVER DRINKING VESSELS, comprising a French goblet, 19th Century, the bell shaped bowl engraved with inscription dated, one side engraved with shell and scroll cartouche centering crest and initials, on spreading circular foot--6in. (15.2cm.) high; another, unmarked, two sides applied with classical medallion within flowering foliage surround, with die-rolled rim and knopped stem--7¼in. (18.4cm.) high; the following AMERICAN, two beakers, each cylindrical with applied rims; the first maker's mark o Talbot, Bailey & Co., Indianapolis--3½in. (8.8cm.) high; the other maker's mark of John A. Cole, New York, circa 1850--3¼in. (8.2cm.) high, 22.5oz.
