Of baluster-form on three splayed feet headed by oval panels, with fluted spout and ebonized turned side handle, the hinged domed cover with scroll thumbpiece and baluster finial, the side engraved with a monogram within a shield, marked on body and cover; struck with the charge and discharge of Henri Clavel, also struck with post-1838 control mark--12½in. (32cm.) high
