The three-pronged fork and steel-bladed knife with reeded tapering handles, with traces of an engraved monogram, the fork marked on stem, the handle of the knife with traces of marks, both also struck with post-1838 control mark--length of fork 10¼in. (26cm.); the three-pronged fork with fiddle and thread pattern stem, marked on stem; struck with the charge and discharge of Julien Alaterre, also struck with later control marks--15¾in. (40cm.) long
