AND ONE APPARENTLY 1775, MAKER'S MARK OF JEAN-FRANCOIS GOGLY

Comprising a pair of shaped circular second course dishes and a shaped circular chop plate, the guilloche rims with acanthus applied at intervals, enclosing a matted band, the borders applied with accolé coats-of-arms surmounted by a coronet, marked on reverses and rims; struck with the charge and discharge of Jean-Baptiste Fouache and Dominique Compant--two 10½in. (26.6cm.) and one 14in. (35.5) diam. (82oz.)
