PARIS, CIRCA 1880, MAKER'S MARK OF TETARD FRERES

Depicting a nude classical maiden and holding aloft a flowers and Cupid holding a flame, on a circular white marble pedestal encised with panels, mounted with silver bands of laurel and beading and set with a cicular plaque with a stylized monogram, restingon a silver gallery of fluted baluster supports with paneled blank cartouches at intervals, above a band of laurel, with removable metal liner, marked on group and gallery--17½in. (44cm.) high, with a mirrored plateau on four circular feet, the border with a band of laurel--length of plateau 29in. (73.7cm.)
