Lot Essay

The arms are those of Heathcote of Hackney, Middlesex, for Samuel Heathcote, born in 1665, who married in 1691 Mary, second daughter of William Dawsonne, also of Hackney. Samuel Heathcote died in 1708 and was succeeded by his eldest son William.
