A PAIR OF STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZE SHAPED-CIRCULAR SOUP-PLATES
CIRCA 1755
Each enamelled with a Chinaman in puce-lined purple tunic, yellow trousers and green hat handing from a twisted flowering tree issuing from a grassy mound within the shaped edge moulded and painted with colourful flowering sprigs (one with slight crack and rim chip)--9½in. (24cm.) diam. (2)
