A STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZE BOWL
CIRCA 1760

With slightly flaring reeded edge, enamelled with a green and dark-rose parrot perched on a turquoise rock on a grassy mound and scattered flowering branches and sprigs in turquoise, green, dark-rose and yellow, the interior with similar sprigs--6 5/8in. (17cm.) diam.
